This sitcom Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain is based on the socio-political scenario of Pakistan. In addition to other characters, each episode has a guest mocking national and international politician. With its sugar-coated discussions in interviews with these mocked celebrities this program aims to bring out the reality with touch of fun out of tense time. Furthermore the various colors of the political personalities, with their views about the local and international political arena. From un-match humor to self-ragging analysis, the show has many segments to it with an emphasis on cutting caustic moods. It is like a mirror on the wall that show our real faces-humorous, dumb or entertaining, all depending upon the objective we are staring at i.e. comic relief.

Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain broadcasts on geo news urdu on every Monday at 11.05pm and repeat telecasts on next day at 04:05am and 01:05pm. Dr Younis Butt famous humorist writes content for Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain. TV actress Saba Qamer and famous stage drama actor Naseem Vicky host this show on Geo News. Prior to them Meera, Mehwish Hayat, Fiza Ali and Veena Malik have also hosted Hum Sub Umeed Se Hain. The show is equally popular since its launched.
